Agenda-All topics relate to the appreciation of nature and the role it plays in the lives of the children:
  • Academics: Grade Appropriate (Pre & Post Assessments)
  • Social and Emotional Workshops: Social and Emotional Workshops further help students identify feelings and emotions, to build a positive self-esteem, develop a sense of value for people and property; learn about responsibility while in school and at home.
  • Nutrition Courses: Nutrition Courses empower children to evaluate nutrition information, make smart food choices, creatively prepare food, and to incorporate this information to everyday life.
  • Arts & Crafts: Scrapbooks for Summer Camp allow children to record memories and track self- journey to “The Green Dream.”
  • American Red Cross Trainings: American Red Cross Trainings teach children basic, safety tips in cases of real-life emergencies.
  • Nature Exploration
Week 1: Gardens/Wild Flowers(Support Entire Ecosystems)
Week 2: U.S. National Parks (Preserving America)
Week 3: Animals (Endangered Species)
Week 4: The Environment
(The Effects of Pollution and the Power of Recycling)
Week 5: The Weather (Connection with Nature)
Week 6: Wrap-up of Weeks’ Lessons
